Export Packaging for Ceramic Vanity Tops: Questions Buyers Should Ask

Ask for a packing specification and evidence that it matches the exact ceramic model.

Packaging is part of the purchase specification, especially when an order combines short and long ceramic tops. A 610 mm E61 and a 1710 mm D1750 require model-specific packing confirmation. The CADIA packing photograph shows a factory packing scene; it does not establish a tested drop rating or damage rate.

Request the exact packing proposal

Ask for the carton construction, internal support arrangement, packed dimensions and weight for each selected model. Confirm how the bowl, corners and long edges are restrained and whether accessories are packed with or apart from the ceramic. Request photos of a packed sample and its model label before a bulk order is shipped.

Match cartons to order lines

Specify the complete model name, finish, quantity, destination marks and any buyer label on the packing instruction. If left and right variants are ordered together, make their carton identification unambiguous. Compare the final packing list with the purchase order and the labels visible in packing photos.

Define the inspection handoff

Agree who checks the product before sealing, who records carton condition at dispatch and what the receiving team should photograph on arrival. Ask how a packing change is approved if the supplier proposes an alternative material or layout. Keep the agreed pack specification with the order revision so a later shipment can be checked against it.
